⚠️ Before You Proceed

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. This action will:

  • Permanently delete all your wine journal entries
  • Remove all your tasting notes and ratings
  • Delete all photos and personal data
  • Cancel any active subscriptions

Take a Break

You can simply stop using the app without deleting your account. Your data will remain safe for when you return.

Export Your Data

Download a copy of all your wine journal data before making any decisions.

How to Delete Your Account

To delete your Vinote account, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Vinote app on your device
  2. Go to Settings → Account
  3. Tap "Delete Account" at the bottom of the screen
  4. Confirm your decision

Alternatively, you can request account deletion by emailing us at support@vinote.co.uk from your registered email address.

Data Retention Policy

After you delete your account:

  • Your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being purged
  • Some anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics purposes
  • We may retain certain information as required by law
